Drill Bits- Self Centering- multicoat bits 3/8 shank
You will never believe the hardness of this drill set. It was developed in Asia to drill very thick steel plate. It has an optimum drill speed of 500 RPM - The drill bit tip has seven cutting edges- the sharp angle makes the bit feed without normal pilot holes-a major time savings! One word of caution- because this bit is extremely hard, it is also brittle- you must control speed and angle. These bits are not guaranteed against burnout or breakage. We do have a bit exchange program where you can exchange old bits for a sum of $3.00 ea to $5.00 ea plus UPS charges. We are happy to send a sample bit for a flat $3.00 mailing fee. A sample bit can be shipped with any order at no charge. Limit one bit per customer...
